Deputies release surveillance video of armed robbery in Clackamas

Clackamas County authorities are working to identify a man suspected of robbing a deli and lottery business last week, and they’ve released surveillance footage of the stick-up in an effort to generate tips.

The county sheriff’s office said the man went into Lighthouse Too on Jan. 16, showed a snub-nosed pistol and demanded cash. He grabbed some cash and left the business, which is in a Clackamas strip mall.

The man is described as having a “golden brown” complexion and being 5-foot-6, 160 to 180 lbs. and 38 to 45 years old. He has a medium build, “full face,” thick black eyebrows and no facial hair, deputies said. He was wearing a gray stocking cap and navy jacket that has a yellow stripe across its chest and toted a colorful money bag. His jacket hood was up.

The sheriff’s office has also made a suspect sketch.

Deputies urge anyone who has information about the robbery or suspect to call 503-723-4949 or submit a tip online. Tipsters should reference case No. 18-1578.
